We’re seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our Terrain Events team. You’ll work closely with the Events Manager to ensure smooth, elegant event execution — serving as the lead on-site contact for clients, vendors, and staff while upholding our brand’s high standards of service and hospitality.
Event Execution & Guest Experience
Lead day-of operations and adhere to event timelines;
Brief and support FOH staff with assigned duties and completion of side-work during set-up and breakdown of events
Serve as a warm, professional host for guests and clients
Greet, direct, and manage vendor specific logistics and timelines
Maintain real-time communication with staff, vendors, and clients
Team Leadership & Communication
Act as day-of point person, delegating with clear and prompt communication to staff under Events Manager’s direction
Support FOH/BOH teams closely; assist with kitchen by performing as expo during dinner service (supplemental training provided)
Organize and communicate all guest needs and changes efficiently (e.g. dietary notes)
Event Prep & Closeout
Lead and assist with event setup, transitions, and teardown
Ensure venue, rentals, and decor are used and cared for properly
Track supplies and notify management for reorders
Complete end-of-shift reports and checklists to ensure closing procedures as outlined by Event Managers
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with alcohol service and health/safety guidelines, particularly those prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated persons
Monitor and report guest conduct issues or incidents to management
1–2 years in event coordination, planning, or hospitality operations
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Exceptional multitasking, delegation, and problem-solving ability
Professionalism in high-pressure environments
Adheres to our event attire presentation for proper dress code
Familiarity with Terrain’s brand and aesthetic preferred
Ability to interpret event timelines, diagrams, and service cues
Comfortable with formal event moments (speeches, dances, etc.)
Must be available for weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
Valid alcohol service certification (RAMP training provided if needed)
Lift up to 50 lbs, able to stand/move for 8–10 hours, and work both indoors and outdoors.
Reliable transportation and punctuality required
