Role Summary

In collaboration with Terrain Café and Events leadership, Terrain Visual Services create an emotionally and visually engaging environment through living greenhouses, exterior gardens and courtyards. They are responsible for supporting all of the Terrain Café and Event’s living assets as well as seasonal display on a weekly basis.

Role Responsibilities

In collaboration with Terrain Café and Events leadership, Terrain Visual Services create an emotionally and visually engaging environment through living greenhouses, exterior gardens and courtyards. They are responsible for supporting all of the Terrain Café and Event’s living assets as well as seasonal display on a weekly basis.

 

Terrain Visual Services provide installs for seasonal décor, including and not limited to : Lighting installs, large scale planting, table top décor, receiving and processing supplies to transfer to other locations for projects, assembling and creating garlands wreaths and other display.

 

Seeking Assistants to support in this exciting division, with opportunity to grow with the brand!  

 

Teamwork + Communication

  • Share Knowledge: exhibits strong communication while actively participating in daily meetings and projects; shares passion for plant, horticulture, and floral design & garden style
  • Contribute: takes initiative and works productively with the team to achieve common, collaborative design goals
  • Adaptable: demonstrates adaptability by redirecting display priorities as needed to work through problem-solving scenarios
  • Display Maintenance: collaborate and communicate with operations teams to ensure proper care of plant displays; maintains cleanliness and organization of back of house display areas
  • Awareness: adheres to store’s safety standards, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store

Role Qualifications

 

  • Ability to move quickly and with confidence to execute tasks within the time constraints we are given
  • Confident on ladders and/ or some experience installing or hanging objects while on a ladder
  • Building and installing seasonal displays throughout the gardens
  • Working with a broad range of building materials such as wood, plexiglass, cables, wiring, fencing, florist materials, range of paints and adhesives
  • Operation of hand and power tools preferable, not mandatory. Such as cordless power tools, saws, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work alone and in a team, be willing to learn new skills and adapt to changing jobs.
  • Plant care and maintenance experience preferred

Pay Range

Starting from USD $18.00/Hr.
