Job Summary 

We’re seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our Terrain Events team. You’ll work closely with the Events Manager to ensure smooth, elegant event execution — serving as the lead on-site contact for clients, vendors, and staff while upholding our brand’s high standards of service and hospitality. 

 

Role Responsibilities

Event Execution & Guest Experience 

  • Lead point person for day-of operations; brief and support staffing assignments & sidework 
  • Provide clear and prompt communication with culinary team about menus, guest count, timeline, allergies, etc.
  • Serve as a warm, professional host for guests and clients 
  • Greet, direct, and manage vendor logistics, set up and breakdown timelines, and monitor adherence to vendor rules 
  • Maintain real-time communication with staff, vendors, and clients and communicate all guest and employee issues to manager on duty

Team Leadership & Communication 

  • Act as day-of point person, delegating under Events Manager’s direction 
  • Support both FOH/BOH teams; assist with kitchen expo as needed 
  • Communicate guest needs and changes (e.g. dietary notes) promptly 

Event Prep & Closeout 

  • Lead the event setup, transitions, and teardown 
  • Ensure venue, rentals, and decor are used and cared for properly 
  • Monitor and Track supplies inventory and notify management for reorders;
  • Responsible for facilities and reporting closing procedures & end-of-shift reports 

Compliance & Safety 

  • Ensure compliance with alcohol service and health/safety guidelines 
  • Monitor and report guest conduct issues or incidents to management 

Role Qualifications

  • 1–2 years in event coordination, planning, or hospitality operations 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Exceptional multitasking, delegation, and problem-solving ability 
  • Professionalism in high-pressure environments 
  • Familiarity with Terrain’s brand and aesthetic preferred 
  • Ability to interpret event timelines, diagrams, and service cues 
  • Must be available for weekends, holidays, and extended shifts 
  • Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPs, RAMP) 
  • Ability to stand, move, and lift during long shifts 
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality required

Pay Range

Starting from USD $22.00/Hr.
