Role Summary

Responsible for all daily restaurant operations, hiring and developing talent, overseeing food quality, and creating memorable guest experiences, to drive sales and manage profitability.

Role Responsibilities

Operations

  • Analyzes and recommends methods for improvements to contain/reduce costs and increase sales
  • Monitors all food and beverage products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications
  • Enforces company standards, policies, and procedures, including sanitation, safety, dress codes, and cash handling
  • Maintains a clean and safe physical environment through timely repair and upkeep. Educates assistant managers and other employees on sanitation and food handling procedures
  • Upholds all company Policy and Procedure

People & Development

  • Oversees training of assistant managers to ensure the development of their leadership skills, customer service skills, and fluency in all systems
  • Encourages a positive work environment. Responsible for hiring, training, developing and evaluating employees
  • Leads by example. Encourages two-way dialogue by providing actionable and candid feedback to staff and soliciting upward feedback from team to continue personal growth

Guest Experience

  • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback; effectively responds to and handles guest issues and complaints
  • Acts as a brand ambassador by leading and developing community relations
  • Creates memorable guest experiences by demonstrating extraordinary service and leading by example

Role Qualifications

  • Three to five years of restaurant management experience; full service preferred
  • Ability to drive sales through excellent service, building of community relationships, and keen awareness of business and industry trends
  • Strong record of developing employees at all levels
  • Exceptional organizational & time management skills
